TRANSPORT

The ski areas SnoWork visits are between 1 - 2 hours drive from Christchurch city. They all sit in alpine bowls above the tree line. The last half hour of the journey is ascending the unsealed access roads which, although narrow and without barriers, offer stunning views of the mountains and plains below. Travelling in a group is not only better for the environment but you don't have to get out and fit the snow chains, and you can sit back and enjoy the scenery..

Travel in safety and comfort with SnoWork in a 4wd vehicle fully equipped for traveling in the New Zealand high country, accompanied by an experienced local guide who is there to ensure your day runs smoothly and that you maximize your time on the snow. Onboard Playstation 2 and DVD's will keep you entertained on the way to the big white.
